Disney Hires New Head Spokesperson, She Is A Longtime Democrat Communications Director


Disney is clearly moving leftwards and it’s in a very bad direction. It has shamelessly adopted radical leftist talking points lately, including making clear its opposition to the Florida law banning sexualization and sexuality from being taught to children aged K-3.

It seems that the pressure is coming from its woke employees, who have created a culture of fear amongst their workers. It was unclear for a while if the Disney brass felt the same or if they were simply being pressured to do so. With their new spokesperson, we can see that they are apparently birds of a feather.

According to a Walt Disney Co. posting on their website, Kristina Schake has been appointed Executive Vice President of Global Communications by the corporation. Kristina Schake is a long-time Democrat operative. Disney proudly displayed her past work with the Democrat Party, including recent work for the Biden administration as well as previous work with the Obama administration and Clinton campaign.

Schake spent over three decades at the intersection of media, government, business, entertainment, technology, and media. She was most recently appointed by President Biden as the national COVID-19 vaccine education campaign’s leader. Prior to that, she was Global Communications Director at Instagram. Schake served as Deputy Communications Director in Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential Campaign and was also Special Assistant to President Obama and Communications Director to First Lady.

Geoff Morrell, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, stated that he couldn’t be happier to welcome Kristina into Disney and have her lead communications for the company. Her experience in both the private and public sectors makes her well-suited for this role. She will also help me integrate communications, government relations, corporate social responsibility, and public policy into my new Corporate Affairs team. We will work together with Disney’s exceptional professionals to help the world’s most famous storytelling company connect with its many stakeholders.

This “social responsibility” line is troubling considering both the Democrat Party’s fight against a bill that effectively prohibits sexualized grooming of children and the attempts by Florida Republicans, particularly Governor Ron DeSantis, to label it anti-LGBT by calling the “Don’t Say, Gay Bill”.

This is a completely disingenuous interpretation of the law, as it doesn’t even mention “gay” once. The bill, which is only seven pages in length and has clearly defined rules, makes it highly probable that Disney executives are aware of this. They’ve been selling the idea that Florida is engaging in out-of-control homophobia, and it has hired a legacy Democrat Party communications chief to prove that it’s fully committed to the Democrat Party agenda.
